Traditional size for illumination. Made with natural gums.
Yellow colour. Paint over the area to be gilded with a brush. Allow to dry, which may take between 10 to 20 minutes.
While it is still tacky apply the gold. If the gold size dries out too much, then its stickiness can be reactivated by breathing directly over the applied size.
